Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.

Welcome to my Grief Blog. If you’re here, I can honestly say that I’m sorry for your loss. Grief is not a club that any of us want to join, yet it is both a blessing and curse. It is a blessing, because we don’t grieve unless we loved. And, it is a curse, of course, because it brings pain. The pain is usually as deep as the love and the relationship. With great love comes great grief.

I began this blog because my amazing husband moved to heaven on October 20, 2020. We usually marry because we can’t imagine our life without this person. So, when we have to do life without this soulmate, it seems overwhelming. And, many relationships are like that. I’m hopeful that sharing our love story and my journey with grief may help others. I know it will help me. Thanks for reading!
